Stu began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as a high school student through the ministry of Young Life. He later became an Area Director of Young Life in Pittsburgh PA. He spent a month at Trail West Lodge in Colorado with Jim Rayburn, the founder of Young Life. Stu is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton Mass, where he was awarded a Byington Fellowship in Systematic Theology under noted theologian Dr. Roger Nicole. 

Following graduation he became Executive Director of Ligonier Ministries under Dr. RC Sproul. He then became Associate Rector of St Stephens Episcopal church under The Rev. John Guest. He did his Episcopal studies at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria Va. He has been an International Teacher for Evangelism Explosion under Dr. D. James Kennedy of Coral Ridge Church in Ft Lauderdale FL. Stu studied for the Dr. of Ministry program at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena CA under Dr. Peter C. Wagner. He went on to found Orchard Hill Church in Wexford, PA. He also did chaplain services for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

Stu has led numerous trips for national church leaders in the footsteps of Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation. He was recently Rector of The Abbey, Pawleys Island SC. He is currently Executive Director of Consequential Christianity. Stu has a passion for teaching Biblical truth to a modern day world.  He is convinced that only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the God of the Bible can lead to personal fulfillment and peace. Stu and His wife Susan live in Pawleys Island SC.
